And because we all like instant gratification - NV is not just any pill - but a rapid weight loss and beauty pill. Couple it with a silicone-enhanced model and take out a national TV and print advertising campaign.

The weight-loss complex is made up of green tea extract, hoodia gordonii, and theobromine. The exact proportions are unknown because it is a proprietary blend (total 267mg). While green tea extract and hoodia may have some validity regarding fat loss, often this depends on the quality - and as Will Brink puts it (via About Supplements):

The truth is that high-quality green tea extracts containing high levels of active compounds are expensive and rarely used in the cost-conscious supplement industry.

Theobromine is a stimulant, and I am unaware of any weight loss effect.
